I'm jumping on the Resolution Bandwagon and resolving to drop a few pounds, go greener, be more organized, and eat healthier for 2009! Wow, I'm nervous already...
But, there's hope on the horizon! I found a 55 cent off coupon in today's Sunday paper coupon insert for the new sweetner product, Truvia. My first step in my resolution is to try the "first great-tasting, zero-calorie natural sweetner born from the leaves of the stevia plant." I plan to check it out tomorrow at the supermarket, but in the meantime I've visited their website:
www.truvia.com to find out more...
Truvia™ natural sweetener is a stevia-based sweetener and thanks to the folks at Cargill, it can be found at your local grocery store nationwide!
Stevia is a shrub in the chrysanthemum family that is native to northeastern Paraguay. First discovered by the country's natives, the plant has been grown, harvested and used in South America to sweeten foods and beverages for more than 200 years. Truvia™ rebiana, the main ingredient in Truvia™ natural sweetner, comes from the best-tasting part of the stevia leaf and is a high-purity sweetener that is consistent in quality and taste. Cargill has spent the past five years developing the product to its specifications and working to produce the ingredient on a commercial scale and the FDA recently approved its safety.
Good luck on your resolutions...See ya at the YMCA!
