My mom never cooked except Thanksgiving and Easter. My two favorite days of the year growing up.
Easter dinner at mom's house was always my favorite. Even after I got married (I was the oldest) we had dinner there and I got to see all my younger brothers and sisters who still lived at home.
All I can remember is gorging on chocolate before church....We were probably too full to eat a proper lunch. :)
When I was younger I remember my whole family all getting together for big Easter celebrations with a fun egg hunt. Everyone would make dishes and have so much fun! I hope to make the same kind of memories for my kids.

passover is crazy with my family. jokes and sarcasm running rampant...and the same jokes every year! the food is nonstop and abundant. to give an example - there are two vegetarians and usually 3 or 4 veggie entrees on top of the 10 or so other dishes!!!

We always had a pretty table for Easter brunch, with little bunny and chick statues among the dishes, miniature baskets at each person's place setting, jellybean eggs hiding among the plates...delightful and magical for little children to find all of the tiny animal figurines dressed in their pretty Easter clothes!

I remember my extended family all getting together and having an Easter egg hunt at a local park and then going to my grandmother's house for a large Ham dinner.
I love Easter and I still make the Easter dinner we always had growing up. We always had a ham. The side dishes were always mashed potatoes and gravy and my mom made a squash casserole. I tweak it every so often. These past years I interchage the mashed potatoes with scalloped potatoes and the squash casserole with fresh veggies instead. For dessert she made ambrosia. Those were good times!!! And that was one day during the year where we could stuff our face with chocolates!
we always went to church and had a ham dinner afterwards with all the fixings, southern style! plenty of desserts too! loved it!
Easter dinner has always been the best, because we get to see all of our relatives! I love those times.

My mom loves Easter. It's her favorite holiday, so she always does it up right. Each year she has some new tasty treat to try. Last year is was a cake decorated with peeps to look like a big gerber daisy. Too cute.
My favortie Easter feast item is the deviled egg, which she makes only because I'd cry if she didn't. BUT, what makes Easter dinner so much fun is that my aunt and uncle come in to town and my cousins come up and we all meet at Mom and Dad's for a fun day together. We've done it since we were kids and now we do it with our kids!
I loved finding the golden egg when I was in third grade and my Brownie troop had and egg hunt at the local nursing home. I felt so special with all those grandmas and grandpas cheering for me!
My grandfather used to make mashed potatoes in what we called the "worm" maker! He would squeeze the cooked potatoes in this device and they would ooze out like worms that were delicious! Easter and Christmas were the two times each year that he would make them.

My mom used to make her special creme caramel for Easter brunch. Now I make it for my kids too and they love it.

I don't remember specific food we had, but our church always had a sunrise servie then there was a breakfast afterwards. At first the men of the church made breakfast, but now it is a potluck.

We've done several different things for Easter, including the "resurrection eggs" devotionals and blowing out eggs to dye! =)

I loved Easter growing up. My mom would cook a huge dinner and after church our relatives would all come over to celebrate. I always enjoyed them passing around the wafers. Of course I wanted chocolate!!!
Easter dinner: Ham. Sweet potatoes (casserole form, of course). Green beans w/almonds. Yeast rolls.
My mom gave up alcohol for Lent one year. At our family Easter dinner she had me cracking open all bottles of liquer and had at least 3 drinks in front of her at all times. It was hilarious!

I always start drooling when I think of Easter dinner. Ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, biscuits... it's like Thanksgiving II.

Every Easter is special for me becuase my grandfather's birthday is usually celebrated on that day too. He is 85 yrs and the Best!!

The easters I remember haven't been that great...my grandma, my GREAT grandma, AND my grandpa all passed away (different years) around easter time, so the easters that really stick out in my mind weren't really associated with good things. But I'd still love to win a gift card if I can enter without having a favorite easter memory. =)

I always loved Passover when all my family got together. Especially being the youngest and being able to stand up and say the four questions. My siblings usually followed and asked them in different languages. I was so proud when I finally learned it in Spanish
easter dinner has more food than should be allowed. I love the no-bake cookies. mine and a family favorite
We used to get together with my husband's family on Easter morning to go to church, then go out to a local restaurant to have someone cook a good meal for us. :) Sadly, we don't do that anymore.
My favorite Passover memory is the last passover with my grandma, Rose, before her Alzheimers got so bad that she ended up in a Nursing Home.

i love easter my mom always made a big hamm and sweet potatos, rolls, apple pie, cheesecake, and veggie tray with spinack dip mmm now i make the same every easter
My mom always included my sister and I in meal prep for Easter, I loved being such an integral part of my family's meal!

One of my favorite Easter memories is having an egg hunt in my Aunt's house because it was either too cold or raining outside for a proper hunt. Found some eggs in great spots.
Our Easter meals always started early with "chocolate bunny ears!" Then we always had my favorite Easter meal of Ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, rolls, corn pudding, a jello salad (it was always lime with stuff in it that we always thought my mom made up at the last minute!) and for dessert a massive chocolate cake. Thinking about this makes me wish I was a child again! Thanks for this generous giveaway.
My favorite Easter Meal memory is the year when my whole family including out of town guests came over for dinner at our house. It was way too crowded and a lot of cleaning up but we had so much fun reminiscing and enjoying each other's company.

I loved during Pesach (Passover) when Elijah the prophet would come to visit our house and drink the extra cup of wine at the table! Of course, my dad helped! : ))) Magical times! : )))
Thanks so much for this fabulous give~away! : )))

We like to go out to brunch.....we don't usually cook....

Only one memory I can think of, and that is a large bunny-head-shaped cake my aunt and mother made for us children on Easter. The "fur" was shredded coconut, the whiskers were strings or licorice, and I believe there were jelly beans involved somehow. They used regular round cake pans to make it, and served it on a large yellow tray. Thanks for the giveaway and the trip down memory lane!
